body geology: Flow

Tracing glacial flow from the Juneau Icefield in Southeast Alaska (Camp 18 on the Vaughan Lewis and Gilkey Glaciers) to the city of Juneau (Mendenhall Glacier terminus) to the Pacific Ocean (Couverden Island, off the coast of Juneau), Body Geology is an attempt to find empathy and intimacy with these bodies of water – freshwater glaciers, saltwater oceans and my own human body moving amongst them – mimicking and directly engaging with the landscape through physical gestures.
