Now We Can Hold Time #4 was installed as part of The Frankenstein GRID: Stanford’s Monster of Modern Science at Stanford University in June 2018. GRID was a laser project to provoke reflection about the relationship between science and nature, and the ethical boundaries between the two. GRID included a week of curated themed events to promote collaboration between artistic and technological communities, and function as a space for contemplation, socialization, and interdisciplinary dialogue. Now We Can Hold Time #4 was featured as part of the event exploring the theme, Narrative, which included a grouping of sculptural, sound, and video works exploring entropy and time scales.
